That's right! A brand-new version of the Wagoneer is coming out, and it's going to be a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). How exciting is that? It's the first model year for the Wagoneer S, which means you'll be part of history if you get one.

By now, you probably know that battery-powered vehicles deliver instant torque and acceleration for a fun drive. But the Wagoneer S takes it to another level with an estimated 600 horsepower and 617 lb-ft of torque generated by its electric powertrain. That's more horses than many gas-powered sports cars! 

With all that power on tap, the Wagoneer S can reportedly rocket from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. Yet even with neck-snapping acceleration, you can still expect to travel over 300 miles on a single charge – among the longest ranges in its class. 

As for seats, available leatherette upholstery, offered in black or ruby red, envelop occupants in comfort. The Wagoneer S is also the only vehicle in its class that comes with heated and ventilated rear seats as standard. 

Other than that, the Wagoneer S comes equipped with 16-way power-adjustable front seats with power lumbar support. The driver's seat also offers position memory, recalling preferences for the seat, pedals, and side mirrors. But that's not all. The seats also have massage functionality for the ultimate touch of luxury. 

Jeep tried to mix old-school Jeep looks with new, modern style. And they nailed it! This SUV looks like nothing else on the road. 20-inch gloss black painted wheels, an illuminated seven-slot grille, and dark metallic gray accents give the Wagoneer S a sleek aesthetic. 

You'll feel like a VIP rolling up in the Wagoneer S thanks to its Warm Welcome proximity activation. When within range, the SUV turns on customized settings like exterior and interior lighting to greet the driver. 

The intuitive Uconnect 5 infotainment system with navigation is enhanced by a segment-exclusive 19-speaker McIntosh audio system. To control everything, there's a giant touchscreen. In fact, the Wagoneer S has more screen space than any other electric car - 45 inches in total! There's even a special screen just for the front passenger. They can check the cameras, plan the route, or handle the music on road trips. Meanwhile, the Jeep mobile app lets owners control certain functions remotely and monitor the vehicle status. 

When car companies make a new model, they often have different versions or "trims" with different features. For now, Jeep's keeping it simple with the Wagoneer S. There's just one version for 2024 - the Launch Edition. 

This Launch Edition is shaping up to be one of the best SUVs ever made, electric or not. It comes with all the neat tricks we talked about earlier - the big wheels, the fancy tech, the superb performance. Even that colossal sunroof is included!
